I designed and developed this course for a local school district to meet the needs of their growing substitute teacher pool. With many new substitutes who were obtaining emergency certification, it was imperative to develop an effective training solution to bring new staff up to speed with the district’s policies and procedures. The challenge of this course was that it needed to be completed very quickly, which is why the course was developed via Articulate Rise. Once the initial training was deployed, subsequent trainings were developed including in-person simulations for fire drills, severe weather drills, and lockdown drills.
